This Privacy Policy describes how the ZeroMeta application ("ZeroMeta", "the app", "we") handles your information. ZeroMeta is a macOS utility that removes metadata from your photos. It was built privacy-first, and this policy reflects that.

1. Data we collect

None. ZeroMeta does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services, we do not set identifiers, and we do not build any profile of you or your activity.

2. Your photos and files

ZeroMeta processes your images entirely on your device. Photos you add to the app are read and cleaned locally by macOS frameworks on your Mac. Your images — and the metadata removed from them — are never uploaded, copied to any server, or seen by us or any third party.

You remain in full control of where cleaned files are written: you choose to overwrite the original, save a copy alongside it, or export to a folder of your choice.

3. Network access

ZeroMeta makes no network connections of any kind. The app is sandboxed by macOS without the network entitlement, so it is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere. There is no sign-in, no cloud sync, and no "phone home."

4. Third-party services

ZeroMeta uses no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or external services. Because the app has no network access, no data is ever shared with anyone.

5. Children's privacy

ZeroMeta does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is rated suitable for all ages.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Because the app collects no data, any changes are expected to be minor clarifications.
